Architectural Metal Fabrications and Hardware
The backbone of Erica's metalworking career developed from working in small studios specializing in refined architectural and decorative metalwork since 1994. Her knowledge of working the material developed through decades of wrestling with challenging projects brought in from outside the field, in working with architects, designers, and home owners. Projects varied from custom hinges, to furniture, wind tunnels for science labs, to multiple flights of stair railings, in all metals and requiring various techniques of welding, machining, forging, and finishing. She built a reputation to be named as the metalworker to use on projects by award winning architects in Boston and beyond, as the one who takes on difficult custom work, and realizing clients' projects with the utmost precision and fine detail in finish.
